It is stated that the shepherd boy was grazing sheep in Yukarı Çilli (Çiliya Jor) village in the Çaldıran district of Turkey's eastern province Van when the soldiers opened a fire and shot him in the back. As Bağa was seriously wounded, he was taken to the Yüzüncü Yıl University (YYÜ) Dursun Odabaşı Medical Center by the ambulance called by his relatives. It was learned that the boy is in intensive care.   EYE-WITNESS: SOLDIERS OPENED FIRE   Having learned that their son was shot, the family immediately ran to the hospital. The family has not yet been informed about the condition of their son who is kept in intensive care.   The eyewitness, who was the one to let the family learn the incident, said that Azat Bağa, who is known to be a shepherd boy in Çilli village, was shot in the morning hours by the fire opened by soldiers.   The family applied to the Human Rights Association (İHD) Van Branch and requested legal assistance.
