Decision of non prosecution for the body sent in a container 2020-06-26 12:00:17 DİYARBAKIR - Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office decided non prosecution for the criminal complaint made by Halise Aksoy, mother of Agit İpek. İpek's body was delivered to her mother in a plastic container and was sent by mail. Prosecutor's Office said the procedure was in accordance with the regulation.   Humans' Rights Association (İHD) Diyarbakır Branch, Diyarbakır Bar Association, Lawyers for Freedom Association (ÖHD), and mother Halisa Aksoy filed a criminal complaint against the officersof Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for misconduct and applied to Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The file was sent to Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's office by Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office with the decision of non prosecution.   BODY WAS PACKED AND SENT TO ATK    In the investigation run by Tunceli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 18 bone pieces that were found in July 4, 2019 was sent Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK) Morgue Specialization Department, packed with the  DNA sample mother Halise Aksoy.    'IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATION'   Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office stated that sending the bones to the mother in a plastic container is in accordance with the regulation, gave a decision of non prosecution for the accusation of misconduct.   Lawyers of mother Aksoy will appeal to the Tunceli Criminal Court of First Instance against the prosecution's decision not to prosecute   Mother Aksoy told that she had to look for the body of her son from one city to another after she heard that he was killed, said that she had been trying to claim the body of her son for 2 years and 3 months.
